MOUNTAIN SOULS, IN PURE FORM

from CHF 75.00

No cloud softens it. No weather moves across it. The peak rises in absolute clarity - rock and snow rendered in light and shadow, nothing concealed. In this image, the mountain does not invite. It simply is. And in that absolute presence, something in us grows still.

No cloud softens it. No weather moves across it. The peak rises in absolute clarity - rock and snow rendered in light and shadow, nothing concealed. In this image, the mountain does not invite. It simply is. And in that absolute presence, something in us grows still.

Stripped of colour, the mountains reveal what colour conceals. Snow becomes light. Rock becomes shadow. Cloud becomes breath. Mountain Souls is a series of black and white images from the Swiss Alps - not the Alps of drama or distance, but the Alps of pure form. Each image an encounter with a mountain as it truly is: ancient, patient, indifferent to weather. And yet - somehow - present.

Nature reminds us.
