MOUNTAIN SOULS, THE VEIL LIFTS

from CHF 75.00

Cloud moves through the mountain - not around it, within it. Rock, snow and forest rise in layers toward a summit that almost disappears. This is the mountain in its most alive state: not fixed, not finished, still becoming. And in that becoming, a quiet reminder of what we too are made of.

Cloud moves through the mountain - not around it, within it. Rock, snow and forest rise in layers toward a summit that almost disappears. This is the mountain in its most alive state: not fixed, not finished, still becoming. And in that becoming, a quiet reminder of what we too are made of.

Stripped of colour, the mountains reveal what colour conceals. Snow becomes light. Rock becomes shadow. Cloud becomes breath. Mountain Souls is a series of black and white images from the Swiss Alps - not the Alps of drama or distance, but the Alps of pure form. Each image an encounter with a mountain as it truly is: ancient, patient, indifferent to weather. And yet - somehow - present.

Nature reminds us.
